April 15, 2009
If we hear the name of Africa, We Think in our mind we will surely be in a dry place, full of deserts, war, disease nest also the poor who starve.
All the views above will change when we went to South Africa, especially in Cape Town, at the south end of the Black Continent.Africa appeared save the beauty of tourism object which not less attractions leading popular in Europe, America, and Australia, One of the enchantment of the most attractive tourism object in Cape Town is the beach. In the city that was built right at the foot of Table Mountain which is shaped like a table, there is the beach area for vacation that is Victoria & Alfred Waterfront (V & A Waterfront). This region is actually part of Table Bay port, the main port of Cape Town, which later became be tourism object that consists of several shopping malls, craft center, open music stage, up to a restaurant on the edge of the wharf with ocean and Table Mountain scenery.
That interesting from V & A Waterfront is the period of colonial buildings that still maintained the original architecture. In addition, the population of seals in the wild waters of the port is not left and coexistence with the press of the port. So, while enjoying roasted lobster in a restaurant in colonial atmosphere , we can enjoy the natural seal that are swimming or sunbathing relaxing on the dock a few meters from the timber where we sit.
Cape Town is located on the west coast of Africa, which means located exactly at the Atlantic Ocean. Surface of the Atlantic which blue combined with white beach sand become attract for tourists.
That is almost along the coastline in the coastal area of Cape Town become most visited by many tourists from European in summer(summer in South Africa coincides with the peak of winter in Europe, so the European gone crowd there to seek the warmth).
Glance, Camps Bay scenery will reminds us with photographs in the Mediterranean Sea tourist resort area, such as Monte Carlo in Monaco. Travel by car to the south will bring you go to more beautiful place.
Beautiful scenery of this city can be saw from Chapman’s Peak Drive, the road segment elevation almost 500 meters above sea. From that altitude, Hout Bay would saw to the wall in a bay with the expanse of large Atlantic Ocean behind the hill.
Travel through Chapman’s Peak Drive is also a solitary experience. zigzag Roads is literally on the wall and the hill was built between the years 1915-1922. On the one hand, the road is a sheer wall of mountain rock is cornered almost 90 °, while on the road another yawn steep cliff that ends at the surface of the Atlantic Ocean waves break vicious slam black stones.
Another interesting experience is when go to along of south beach of Africa this is a meet with penguin. Southern Africa region is one of the few areas outside the South Pole where we can meet this black and white birth.
One of the penguin population centers in South Africa is on the Boulders Beach which is located in the False Bay or the east coast of Cape Peninsula. In reserve that entrance in Table Mountain National Park area, there are around 4000 African penguin (Spheniscus demersus).
Penguin at Boulders Beach and the seals in the V & A Waterfront is not the only rare animal, which we can see in the outdoors at the Cape Town coast. If we are lucky, in the middle of the sea , we can look whales appear to surface.
The local people seem very important to understand the meaning of this terrible scene, so along the seaside is made many place for rest. It only place with a stone bench overlooking the beach or to a set of tables and chairs under the shady trees that can be used to be romantic moment with lovers or picnic with family.
