Amazon Review

October 8, 2009

The Amazon rainforest is the epitome of a dense tropical jungle with absolute absence of modern amenities. Unlike urban settlements, this hot region in the blend of exceptional terrains of the face of the Earth is a symbol of unpolluted environment filled with affluent sources of flora and fauna. There are an estimated 300 species of plants and many more which haven’t been discovered by scientists. Located in the selected portions of Peru, Ecuador, Brazil and Colombia, the Amazon River contains one fifth of the world’s total water flow, thus earning itself the apt nickname of the Earth’s Water Basin.

Native communities inhabit this area and are mostly of the Mestizo clan. The Mestizos are mixed of European and local indigenous ancestry and they use the vast supply of raw food and other substances to make an upright living for themselves. lets…. Visiting Malta

September 15, 2009

maltaMalta is a small island located in the Mediterranean sea just off the coast of Italy. Malta is an ex-British colony so English is spoken extensively alongside the native language of Malti. So who should visit Malta and why?

Owing to it’s location Malta is hot and dry with very little wildlife to speak of. Only a tiny number of birds and mammals can be found here though there are considerably more insects and reptiles. This in combination with the Maltese passion for hunting the few birds that are present means that Malta is not an ideal location for the animal fanatic.

Sadly Malta also has very few sandy beaches, and the few that are there are typically packed to bursting point making them rather unpleasant. While the water is warm and a stunning blue making for fantastic swimming and snorkeling the beaches lack that welcoming look. Read more

The oldest part of the Altstadt is the marketplace, or Marktplatz. Dominating this square is the ornate facade of the Town Hall, which was erected originally between 1405 and 1410 in Gothic style. However, in the early 1600s the facade was built in the local “Weser Renaissance” style.
